Dr. Dre Claims His Ex-Wife Is Smearing His Name For Money With False Abuse Allegations

Dr. Dre

Dr. Dre just filed new court documents claiming his ex-wife is lying about shocking allegations claiming he beat her up multiple times over their 24-year marriage.

Hip-Hop producer and mogul Dr. Dre continues to deny that he has been physically abusive to his estranged wife, Nicole Young.

Dre believes that the allegations are simply a ploy for her to get more money after the divorce is final, particularly since the prenup still stands.

Some people speculate that she is pushing the narrative forward to play off his documented history of beating up women.

In rebuttal to her claims, he has filed a motion to reject those allegations.

He further notes that her claim that he was abusive to her during their relationship is stressing him out.

The West Coast legend doesn’t need to be stressed out. Earlier this year, stress almost took him out of here.

In the beginning of January, Dre suffered a brain aneurysm and had to spend some time at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

While he was still in his hospital bed, Nicole’s lawyers negotiated with Dre’s team to secure a lump sum of $2 million in temporary support to hold her over until this month’s court hearing.

Just because the Mrs. isn’t extending her grace, doesn’t mean others aren’t. Dre took to Instagram to thank those who have been supporting him and helping him get better.

“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
