Dipset member and Diplomat Records’ A&R Duke Da God was involved in a freak car accident in Harlem on Friday (May 2) AllHipHop.com has confirmed.

 

The rapper was in Harlem, sitting at a red light on 135th and 5th Avenue, when he witnessed two cars racing each other around 3:00 PM.

 

One driver lost control of his speeding vehicle, spun out of control and smashed into the front of Duke Da God’s Black R500 Mercedes Benz.

 

“N***as have gone out and copped the new Grand Theft Auto IV and they have lost their damn minds,” Duke Da God told AllHipHop.com.

 

Duke Da God also revealed that The Diplomat’s will unveil Dipset Radio, a brand new radio show which will launch over Memorial Day Weekend on XM’s Channel 66 Raw Hip-Hop station.

 

Last month, Dipset member Freekey Zekey escaped serious injury when his 2007 white S550 Benz was smashed in an accident at 115th Street and 1st Avenue in Manhattan.

 

He was treated at St. Luke’s Hospital and released. Duke Da God is also preparing the third installment of The Diplomat’s compilation series, More Than Music.
