Eminem offered $4 Mil To Star Opposite DMX

Eminem has been offered to play DMX’s nemesis in the film Lazarus, which was supposed to be the fourth installment of The Crow series, but now has taken on an identity of its own. For his role, Eminem was offered $4 million. The plot centers around two men who die, are brought back from the dead and battle for dominance in the Hip-Hop world. Eminem is also being courted to do an autobiographical move, in which he would star, and Imagine Films chairmen Brain Grazer will produce. Eminem is currently writing songs with Dr. Dre for the film. In the past, Eminem has turned down other roles, including one with Denzel Washington in a Warner Brothers film, training day. Eminem is signed to Warner rival, Aftermath/Interscope, which is owned by Universal, the company that also owns Def Jam. Universal seems to realize their artists have the ability to translate to the big screen.
