Saturday March 30, at the Apollo Theatre, rappers Eve and Free will join the cast of “V-Day Harlem 2002,” an assistance program for victims of domestic violence. The two ladies of hip-hop plan to appear along side of stars like Naiomi Campbell, Faith Evans, Kim Coles, Lynn Whitfield and Rosario Dawson. Eve, who also made a large donation, plans to perform her hit, “Love Is Blind,” which was inspired by a friend who was abused by her boyfriend. V-Day is an annual event that helps anti-violence organizations throughout the world continue and expand their fight against violence towards women and girls. The show itself is in conjunction with a play called The V##### Monologues, co-produced by actress/dancer Rosie Perez. For more information log onto www.vday.org
