Fabolous Not in Car Accident, Taken To Hospital

Brooklyn rapper Fabolous was not involved in a car accident last night in New York City, despite circulating reports. The rapper became ill as he drove and thought that he was possibly poisoned.   “Wow I’m ok. I was not in an accident, thanks 4 the concern. I think I know where this started…let me explain,” the rapper said on his Twitter blog.   “I was drivin yesterday morning & started feelin really sick & felt like I was gonna pass out while I was drivin. I veered off 2 da side of the road. Had a ambulance called and they picked me up from the side of the road. Maybe that’s where the car accident confusion came from. Believed I was poisoned so I checked in and was given medical treatment…a lil sedated so I didn’t tweet but was released 2 go late last night.”   According to sources, the rapper is at home recovering.   According to a number of messages on Twitter, multiple people were asking for “prayers” for Fab, but did not offer any other information regarding the accident.   A source close to Fab’s Rich Yung camp tells us, “He’s good. I talked to Cheo (Fabolous’s manager) [and] he said all is good.”   In related news, Fabolous is currently working with Ryan Leslie and Ne-Yo to form a new as-yet-untitled supergroup. Fab’s latest disc, Loso’s Way, in in stores now and the remix for “Throw It In The Bag” featuring Drake is burning up radio charts.
