EXCLUSIVE: “Snoop From The Wire” Wants Donald Trump Stop Bashing Baltimore And Help!

Felicia “Snoop” Pearson acted about the ills of Baltimore, but now she is trying to fix it! She wants Trump to help do that!

(AllHipHop News) Baltimore has been at the forefront of trash talk with Donald Trump, but Felicia “Snoop” Pearson has a challenge for the president to put his hurtful words into action.

Pearson, a Baltimore native, was born prematurely to a pair of incarcerated drug addicts, but that did not stop her. She rose to fame and acclaim due to her portrayal of a drug dealer on “The Wire,” an HBO show widely considered to be the best show ever.

However, Trump and Baltimore Congressman Elijah Cummings became embroiled in a war of words over social media that resulted in mudslinging. Trump said that the city was a “disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess.” Like Cummings, Snoop abhors the comments but has also stated that she welcomes the president to help her in improving conditions in the city.

To charge the president with moving from rhetoric to actionable moves, Snoop has invited him to her first annual “Snoop’s Celebrity Shoot Hoops Not Guns” event. The affair takes place this Saturday (August 31) at the Dome in Baltimore.

Snoop, a fierce activist, exclusively told AllHipHop why she wants Trump to come to her event, among the people, and why she does not agree with the bad-mouthing of Baltimore.

My priority right now is to be an agent of consistent and continuous positive change and provide solutions for my community of Baltimore. I want my efforts to resonate across the nation and make a lasting impact. People are hurting, especially black & brown in urban areas. Instead of talking about our city, help us. The comments of the President frustrated me and so many others. I’m not here to bash him for what he said but to let him know, we are in dire need and welcome his help to fix what is broken. I am extending a formal invite to you President Trump to come to my event Saturday, August 31st at the Dome in Baltimore from 2-7pm. It’s the first annual “Snoop’s Celebrity Shoot Hoops Not Guns” event where my team and I are inviting the community to enjoy a day of food and fun.

We are also giving out free school supplies to all in need. I am doing this in conjunction with Baltimore City Recreation Department and DTLR.

Pastor Darrell Scott from the President’s Executive Transition Team through my publicist Alvina Alston, has been working with me to get the President to the city and I’m told by Pastor Scott who works very closely with him that the President is very interested in coming! So I’m very grateful for his willingness to come and I am anticipating great things to transpire from our collaboration.

No matter who I voted for or whom any of us support at the end of the day, we all should be able to put our differences aside and come together for a common cause and greatly benefit those who matter most and that’s those impacted by gun violence, drugs and so many other shortcomings in our communities.
