French Montana Cancels Release Of Sophomore Album “MC4”

MC4 IS NO MORE

(AllHipHop News) French Montana has revealed that he will not be dropping his sophomore album MC4 at all.

The album, which was slated to be a follow up to his Mac & Cheese mixtape series, was originally announced to be hitting the market August 19 before being pushed back to an October 14 release.

MC4, now permanently shelfed, was expected to have features from Nas, A$AP Rocky, and Koda Black, among many others.

The Bronx native stated that ultimately issues with sample clearances led to the project’s demise.

“Songs like “I’m Heated” and “Two Times” couldn’t be cleared, which ruined the feel of the album French said.

Despite the recent setback the rapper says he has a new project 70 percent done.
