G-Eazy Teams With Puma For New Sneaker

G-Eazy Teams With Puma For New Sneaker

There’s a philanthropic component to the deal.

(AllHipHop News) Gerald “G-Eazy” Gillum is the latest rapper to work with Puma. After teaming with Meek Mill, Nipsey Hussle, and YBN Cordae, the German athletic brand is producing a collection from G-Eazy.

The Puma/G-Eazy partnership began in 2018, but the cooperative effort was cemented with a welcome home dinner in Oakland following G-Eazy’s set at the Rolling Loud Bay Area festival. E-40, DaniLeigh, and Guapdad4000 were in attendance as well.

G-Eazy is attached to Puma’s The Ralph Sampson LO sneaker. The shoe is named after retired NBA player Ralph Sampson. The Basketball Hall of Famer was also at the Oakland event honoring the “No Limit” performer.

As part of their deal, Puma will sponsor Gillum’s The Endless Summer Fund nonprofit organization. The Endless Summer Fund works with local Bay Area organizations to support under-served youth. G-Eazy and Puma will also join forces for the “From The Bay to the Universe” program which helps music artists such as Dounia, ALLBLACK, Kossisko, Marty Grimes, and Daghe.
