G-Unit South African Concerts Announced

50 Cent and his G-Unit collective will head to South Africa to give to major performances in Johannesburg and Capetown this May.   The Virgin Mobile 50 Cent and G-Unit Tour is being presented and produced by SABC 1, Showtime Productions and Virgin Mobile.   The concert will feature the rappers from G-Unit, including 50 Cent, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo.   The collective will perform May 1 at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg, before heading to Capetown for a performance at the Belville Velodrome on Saturday, May 3.   “Virgin Mobile is proud to sponsor the 50 Cent Tour in association with SABC1 as our heritage has always set squarely in music,“ said Peter Boyd, CEO of Virgin Mobile South Africa. “Music is at the heart of what we’re about, and it’s what our customers love too.
