Jadakiss and Joe join an all star line up of hip-hop artists on the soundtrack to the upcoming movie, "Drumline." The duo are paired on the Dallas Austin produced "I Want A Girl Like You.," which hits radio stations October 28. A video will be shot for the song November 8-9 and will debut on various cable networks November 18. Dallas Austin also executive produced the movie, which came from his experiences as a high school student and drumliner in Atlanta. Drumline is the story of Devon Miles, a young, gifted hip hip-hop drummer from Harlem who decides to move to Atlanta to study at a local college with the hopes of gaining a spot on as a drummer on the school’s renowned marching band’s drumline. The movie offers a unique look at the world and culture of show-style marching bands at America’s black universities. The soundtrack also features Trick Daddy, N.E.R.D., Sunshine Anderson, Alicia Keys, Nappy Roots, Petey Pablo, Monica and others. "Drumline," which also stars North Carolina’s Petey Pablo, opens in theaters nationwide on January 10, 2003.
