Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have welcomed their second child. Kim gave birth early Saturday morning. Their baby boy came early, 3 weeks before the due date to be exact. Their original due date was Christmas day, but the Wests had a feeling he would come early. The 35-year-old reality star announced the news on her official website.
“Kanye and I welcome our baby boy,”
the announcement read. She also took to Twitter, to say,
“He’s here!”
Kardashian revealed before Thanksgiving that there was a chance she’d have to get a C-section this time around because her baby was breech, meaning he was turned in the womb from the normal birthing direction. Over Thanksgiving Kim, was able to undergo a procedure called ECV (External Cephalic Version) that allowed doctors to turn their son in the correct direction. Because of health issues surrounding her pregnancy with North West, she had anxiety about her risk of having preeclampsia and placenta accreta, but as we see everything worked out. Kim and Kanye haven’t revealed the name of their newest addition, and they revealed not too long ago that they hadn’t completely settled on a name. Do you have any guesses for baby Ye’s name?
