Lauryn Hill’s Cousin Has 10 Days To Give Her Financial Info Or He’s Going To Jail

Lauryn Hill’s cousin Gerald could be sent to the slammer if he doesn’t give the rapper the documents she needs over an unpaid loan.

(AllHipHop News) Lauryn Hill’s cousin has been threatened with arrest if he fails to provide the star with his bank records in their ongoing dispute over an unpaid loan.

The “Everything Is Everything” hitmaker took Gerald Hill to court for breach of contract last year, claiming he reneged on an agreement to repay a $65,000 loan he had received from the singer/rapper in 2017.

As part of the deal, if he failed to return the funds within the set time frame, he would also have to cover lawyers’ fees, and other costs incurred through court action, which the musician began pursuing when he missed his first payment.

Lauryn won a default judgment after her relative did not respond to the lawsuit, and he was ordered to repay the full fee, plus interest and damages.

However, Gerald has still yet to hand over any cash, and now a New Jersey judge has approved Lauryn’s demand for access to his financial documents to assess his income and other funds.

According to The Blast, Gerald has now been given 10 days to provide the paperwork or face having a warrant issued for his arrest.
