“Bernie Sanders wants to rebuild bridges and also fighting against the fossil fuels,” B told Michael Eric Dyson. “I’m really down for that, because I’m always down to conserve and save energy.”

The 73-year-old Vermont politician is considered a long-shot to defeat Clinton, but he has been surging in polls in recent weeks. Sanders has also been protested by Black Lives Matter activists. B addressed the targeting of his favored candidate.

“I think the Black Lives Matter movement could go about it differently,” asaid B. “At the end of the day, these are non-violent protest, and these people have urgent feelings that they want to bring to the people and the world.”
