Lil Yachty Featured On A Remix To Katy Perry’s “Chained To The Rhythm” (AUDIO)

THE ATLANTA RAPPER TEAMS UP WITH A POP SUPERSTAR

(AllHipHop News) Lil Yachty recently scored his second Top 10 Hot 100 hit as a guest feature on KYLE’s “iSpy,” securing the Atlanta native a position as a mainstream force.

His appeal to the Pop audience is likely to increase even more after Yachty jumped on a new version of international superstar Katy Perry’s “Chained to the Rhythm.”

“Thank You Katy,” wrote the 19-year-old rhymer on Instagram.

Yachty’s “Boat Remix” has already collected over 40,000 plays on SoundCloud in 12 hours.

The original “Chained to the Rhythm” peaked at #4 on the Hot 100 and currently sits at #15.

It is likely to appear on the next Katy Perry album.

Previously, Perry worked with other rappers such as Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Juicy J, and Missy Elliott.

Before tackling Perry’s latest single, Yachty connected with another Pop sensation for a remake of a Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock banger.

Lil Yachty and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “It Takes Two” collaboration was used in a Target ad.
