Mac Miller’s Mom Karen Meyers is asking the late rapper’s associates not to participate in an upcoming unauthorized biography.

Recently, the news was revealed that a biography of Mac was on the way, but his mother Karen Meyers says otherwise.

Karen Meyers posted a message to her 60.9K followers on Instagram,

asking Mac’s friends and business associates not to participate.

“To artists, management & friends: there is a writer doing a Mac Miller biography that some of you have been approached about or will be,” Meyers’ Instagram message reads. “This book is not authorized/approved by Mac’s family or Estate. We are not participating and prefer you don’t either if you personally knew Malcolm.”

Allegedly, the unauthorized biographer has been soliciting information from Mac’s friends, fans, and former business partners.

On September 7th (the one-year anniversary of his death), Mac Miller’s family and estate celebrated the life of the late rapper in his hometown of Pittsburgh, at Blue Slide Park.

Cameron Pettit, one of the guys accused of selling Mac the drugs that killed him, will go to trial this November.
