Man Arrested For Killing Toya Wright’s Brothers After He Bragged About Murders

(AllHipHop News) Police in Louisiana have arrested a man in connection to the murders of Lil Wayne’s former brother-in-laws last summer.

The rapper’s ex-wife, Toya Wright, was left devastated in July when authorities found the bodies of her siblings Rudy and Josh Johnson in a car.

They died after each sustaining multiple gunshot wounds, and authorities launched an investigation into their apparent murders.

On Thursday (March 9), officers arrested main suspect Antoine Edwards aka “Tweezy”and charged him with second degree murder.

According to NOLA.com, cops received a tip-off about Edwards after he allegedly bragged about the shooting.

The news came as a relief to Wright, who had waited months for an update in the case.

“All we want is justice for my brothers,” she told TMZ.com after details of the arrest emerged. “We thank everyone for their prayers and support.”

At the time of the double tragedy, Toya, who shares 18-year-old daughter Reginae with Wayne, took to Instagram to pay tribute to her siblings.

Alongside a photo of her brothers, the reality TV star wrote, “Help me Lord I will never understand this. #stoptheviolence #ineverfeltpainlikethisbefore #riptomybrothers #icantbelievethis #prayformyfamily (sic).”
