(AllHipHop News) Rapper 2 Chainz has been slapped with a lawsuit by a man who was allegedly punched by his bodyguard during a recent visit to New York City.

The “I’m Different” hitmaker, real name Tauheed Epps, was arriving at Manhattan’s Rockefeller Plaza in October to perform on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” when his security official Rory Smith became involved in an altercation with a photographer.

Smith, 47, was arrested for assault, and now the alleged victim, Richard Capak, has filed suit against 2 Chainz and his employee, claiming the hip-hop star “authorized the actions” that landed the 64-year-old in hospital, according to TheBlast.com.

Capak was treated for non-life threatening injuries, which included a bloody cut to his head.

Representatives for 2 Chainz have yet to comment on the legal action.
