(AllHipHop News) The release of Meek Mill from a state prison in Pennsylvania made national news, thanks in part to the support of prominent figures like comedian Kevin Hart and Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin. Meek is now speaking for himself.

Lester Holt of NBC News caught up with the Philadelphia representative for his first on-camera interview since exiting the correctional facility. Meek talks about his faith in God, helping other incriminated citizens, and making the transition back to being a free man.

“No I don’t feel free,” Mill stated. “I ain’t feel free since I caught this case at the age of 19. I’m 30 now.”

Holt also spoke to Rubin about Meek Mill being a symbol of necessary change in the justice system. Philadelphia’s new District Attorney Larry Krasner also appears in the clip.
