(AllHipHop News) More names have been attached to BET’s The Bobby Brown Story. Woody McClain (The New Edition Story) is reprising his role as the R&B star, and he will be joined by other actors for the highly anticipated 2-night miniseries.
Bobby Brown’s biopic will also feature performances by Mekhi Phifer, Milton “Lil Rel” Howery, Lance Gross, Laz Alonso, Sandi McCree, T.K. Carter, and Alyssa Goss. Kiel Adrian Scott was tapped to direct.
The New Edition Story producer Jesse Collins is also serving as an executive producer for The Bobby Brown Story. In 2017, The New Edition Story was a ratings hit for BET and garnered widespread critical praise.
