Plies Set To Debut New Video Today

With a string of successful singles and collaborations, Plies is riding a wave of momentum as he prepares for the release of his forthcoming album Definition of Real.   So much so, that the rapper is looking to make a statement with the world premiere of the video for his new single “Who Hotter Than Me.”   “It is the first video that I did, that is damn near an all performance video,” Plies told AllHipHop.com. “I feel like we are making a statement with this video…there is not a street artist out that has a bigger situation than I do currently.   “Who Hotter Than Me” is among the songs that will be found on Definition of Real.   The album is the follow up to Plies’s first release The Real Testament.   Among the tracks featured on the project were the hit singles “Shawty” (Feat. T-Pain) and “Hypnotize” (Feat. Akon).   Despite having more than a few songs to choose from as the lead single for the new album, the Florida native was adamant about which tune he wanted fans to hear first off the new release.   “It is a statement record,” Plies revealed to AllHipHop.com about “Who Hotter Than Me.” “It is setting the momentum for the type of material you will find on Definition Of Real. It gives off the vibe that we wanted to try to accomplish, in terms of letting people know that I have the biggest situation in the streets right now.”   “Who Hotter Than Me” will premiere on AllHipHop.com today (April 1).   Plies’ Definition of Real is slated to hit stores on June 10.
