Prodigy and The Alchemist have teamed with XM Radio and the pair will host their own show, Infamous Radio. The weekly show on channel 66 RAW will feature hip-hop exclusives, artist interviews, live performances and more. “I’m very excited that Prodigy, The Alchemist and the rest of the Infamous Mobb have joined the continually growing XM family of artists,” Leo G., Program Director for 66 RAW told AllHipHop.com. In addition to creative freedom afford by satellite radio, which includes uncensored channels, Leo G. said new technology would revolutionize the radio business. “I believe this is the wave of new things to come in regards to the relationship between artists and radio,” Leo G. continued. “They can do things here that can’t be done on terrestrial radio, with much more creative freedom.” XM is currently leading the satellite radio market, with more than 2.5 million subscribers. Last week, Snoop Dogg announced his own show on XM’s channel The Rhyme, which will be broadcast from his California home. Infamous Radio debuts Saturday December 18th at 10 pm EST. Encores will play Sunday at 6 pm and Tuesday at 8 am EST.
