Rapper JT Money Denies Involvement In Atlanta Shooting

An attorney for rapper JT Money has denied that his client was involved in a shooting last weekend at the Opera Club in Midtown Atlanta.   Police are seeking a black Hummer with three men who left the scene of the shooting, which took place on October 11 and left one mad wounded with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.   The shooting took place inside of the club, after an argument between two men escalated.   Carl Edwards Green, II, 29, was shot in the abdomen and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.   An attorney for JT Money said that the rapper was in Florida on the night in question and had nothing to do with the shooting, which occurred in front of 400-500 audience members, just before R&B star Trey Songz was about to perform.   Police have not made any arrests in the case and Atlanta Police have declined to name suspects in the case, due to an ongoing investigation.
