Rapper Juice Wrld Laid To Rest

Juice Wrld’s friends, family and fans gathered to lay the rap star to rest in his hometown of Chicago.

(AllHipHop News) The family of late rapper Juice Wrld laid the rap star to rest yesterday during a “Celebration of Life” ceremony.

The 21-year-old “Lucid Dreams” hitmaker died at Chicago’s Midway Airport after suffering a seizure last weekend.

It was revealed he had been taking Percocet, an opioid painkiller, and was in possession of several bottles of prescription cough syrup.

The rapper’s family gathered for a formal ceremony at the Holy Temple Cathedral Church of God in Christ, while his fans paid tribute to him during a separate service in front of The Bean in Millennium Park.

“We loved Jarad with all of our hearts and cannot believe our time with him has been cut short,” Juice Wrld’s family said in a statement. “As he often addressed in his music and to his fans, Jarad battled with prescription drug dependency.”
