Cash Money rapper Lil Wayne is scheduled to perform during the Fourth of July Big Balla Weekend, a five-on-five basketball tournament in the south, featuring live Hip-Hop and R&B performances. Held in the downtown Dallas YMCA with the finals played at Reunion Arena, the tournament showcases basketball players in the south, who compete against one another for a Grand Prize of $10,000. In addition to the second place team receiving $2,500, an All Tournament Team will be chosen. Each player on the All Tournament Team receives $150 and the Tournament MVP receives $500. Other player accolades include cash prizes awarded for best defensive and best offensive player. Fans will also have a chance to win a 2005 Bentley Continental by hitting a series of shots in 24 seconds. Also available for fans will be door prizes, including a Kenwood car stereo system, 20" Rims, a 2-karat diamond tennis bracelet and of free And What gear. The artists perform during halftime and between tournament games, with celebrity after-parties expected all weekend.
