Rapper Rick Ross Wants His Money, Appeals LMFAO “Party Anthem”

(AllHipHop News) Rick Ross wants to get paid.

The rapper has launched another legal bid to gain royalties from LMFAO big hit “Party Rock Anthem.”

Rick Ross launched a lawsuit against LMFAO in January of 2014, claiming the hook from the catchy song was actually derived from his 2006 hit single “Hustlin’.”

The case went to court in April of 2016, however LMFAO came out on top when a judge threw the case out because three different owners were listed on the original copyright Ross filed.Now, Ross is launching his new legal campaign to get compensated from the track.

His new lawsuit agrees with an earlier ruling, but he claims the shotty paperwork work does not negate the fact that LMFAO stole his hook.

In Ross’s new arguments before 11th circuit County court the rapper the copyright’s clerical errors should not have resulted in his entire case being dismissed.

Rick Ross is seeking an undisclosed amount of dollars in damages from LMFAO.
