Rick Ross Set To Appear In Court For 2015 Kidnapping & Battery Charges

ROZAY MAINTAINS HE ACTED IN SELF-DEFENSE

(AllHipHop News) Back in 2015, William “Rick Ross” Roberts was arrested on nine charges, including kidnapping and battery.

The legal situation stemmed from allegations the rapper and his bodyguard, Nadrian James, forced two groundskeepers into a guest house on his Atlanta area property and held them there for several hours.

Ross was also accused of hitting one man with a pistol.

According to reports, Ross is scheduled to appear in a Fayette County courtroom today (March 24) in relation to the criminal case.

He is facing charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery.

James was charged with kidnapping and aggravated battery.

They both entered not guilty pleas during arraignment proceedings in 2016.

Ross has been out on a reported $2 million bond since the June 24, 2015 arrest.

The Maybach Music Group leader maintains he acted in self-defense and hopes all charges will be dropped.
