Rihanna Ties Stevie Wonder For 4th Place On The List Of Career Top 10 Hits

RIRI IS STAKING HER CLAIM AS THE QUEEN OF THE HOT 100

(AllHipHop News) Rihanna is further proving why she should be crowned the “Queen of the Hot 100.” The Roc Nation singer already racked up 14 #1 singles, passed the Beatles for the second-most total weeks spent at #1, and became the only artist in history to have a #1 single on seven consecutive studio albums.

This week Rihanna earned her 28th Hot 100 Top 10 record when the Calvin Harris collaboration “This Is What We Came For” landed at #9. Those 28 Top 10’s puts RiRi in a fourth place tie on the all-time list with the legendary Stevie Wonder.

The “Work” performer was previously tied with Mariah Carey, Elton John, and Janet Jackson with 27. Rihanna now only trails Madonna (38), the Beatles (34), and Michael Jackson (29). Elvis Presley collected 36 #1 singles when combining both Hot 100 and pre-Hot 100 songs.

Rihanna will likely catch MJ in the coming weeks. Her Anti single “Needed Me” hit a new Hot 100 high at 13. The Grammy winner also sits at with “Work”  and #76 with “Kiss It Better” as well as #52 as a guest on Drake’s “Too Good.”
