Sean Kingston Claims He Was Kidnapped Over Jewelry

LAPD IS CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING

Sean Kingston claims that he was kidnapped by jewelry store employees after a watch sale gone wrong, TMZ reports.

Kingston was making payments on a $225,000 watch he bought from Avianne Jewelers in Los Angeles. After paying a total of $185,000, he reportedly refused to pay anymore because he felt that the watch wasn’t worth the asking price.

After a few arguments, the “Beat It” singer agreed to do a swap and give them the watch back in return for something worth $185,000. The 25-year-old told the LAPD that when he met with the jeweler on (Nov. 17) at 1:50 a.m in a parking lot, things took a turn for the worse. Kingston said that when he got in the car, the watch was snatched off his wrist. When the jeweler refused to give it back, Kingston refused to get out of the car. He was reportedly then driven around a secluded area and then thrown out of the car.

LAPD says this is considered kidnapping and are currently investigating.
