As we reported last month, former Loud Records CEO (and currently CEO of SRC) Steve Rifkind is launching what he calls a "mini-studio." While he has not released detailed information about the entire scope of the project, one arm of the company will be a hip-hop lifestyles channel. The channel, which was created by Rifkind and a new media company, Vertical Media Holdings, will focus on underground hip-hop music and urban entertainment that cannot be found on other cable channels.
