Vancouver, Canada based hip-hop group Swollen Members‘ won Canada’s equivalent of a Grammy for their second album, Bad Dreams on Sunday April 14th. The album, which is certified gold in Canada, took home the award for Best Rap Recording, edging out Solitair’s Easy To Slip, Ghetto Concept’s Still Too Much, Jeleestone’s Jeleestone 13 and Kardinal Offishall’s Firestarter Vol. 1. Bad Dreams features guest appearances by Dilated Peoples, Planet Asia, Son Doobi, Chali Tuna (Jurassic 5) DJ Revolution (Wake Up Show), DJ Babu and DJ J-Rocc. The duo was honored with a Juno last year as well, for their debut album "Balance." The group is currently on tour.
