(AllHipHop News) Popular podcaster Daryl “Taxstone” Campbell has pled guilty to possessing a firearm as a felon and receiving a firearm in interstate commerce.
The charges were connected to the May 2016 shooting at New York City’s Irving Plaza involving Brooklyn rapper Roland “Troy Ave” Collins.
Troy Ave’s friend/bodyguard Ronald McPhatter was killed as a result of the incident.
Other people, including Troy, were injured.
Taxstone was not charged with murder, but prosecutors believe the Tax Season host brought the gun that ultimately led to McPhatter’s death.
His DNA was reportedly discovered on the handgun.
Tax is facing up to 20 years in federal prison.
He previously served time in state prison for attempted weapons possession and attempted robbery.
