Savannah, Georgia rapper Jason "Camoflauge" Johnson, was shot twice outside of the Pure Pain recording studios, on 37th street. Johnson was gunned down in broad daylight at 37th and Florance street as he walked with his toddler son. In 2000, Johnson and David Rashawn Thompson were charged with the death of Kenneth Capers. A grand jury failed to indict the two men, but Savannah detectives still considered Johnson a suspect in the death.
