Vic Mensa Wants You To Vote, So He’s Giving Away A New EP

(AllHipHop News) Grammy nominated rapper Vic Mensa has teamed with the Respect My Vote campaign to engage young voters in the upcoming presidential election.

Vic Mensa is releasing an exclusive mixtape titled There’s Alot Going On with the Hip Hop Caucus’ (HHC) and their Respect My Vote initiate.

However, Mensa’s mixtape, which can be downloaded now, will not be available to the general public right away.

In order to obtain a download of Vic Mensa’s There’s Alot Going On EP, fans must first register to vote at from now until July 4th.

Vic Mensa is attempting to engage his audience and mobile a younger base of audience to get out and vote.

The partnership ends an interesting week for Vic Mensa and several others, who were supposed to perform at concerts affiliated with NYC Governors Ball Music Festival on Sunday (June 5th).

That show may have been canceled due to the Troy Ave incident last week at Irving Plaza, but Vic Mensa was still able to engage his fans at a show last night (June 2) in New York.

REVOLT kicked off the 2016 Governor’s Ball Music Festival weekend, where Vic Mensa headlined and performed a variety of new songs – for free.
