Will Smith Will Not Be In The New ‘Men In Black’ Film

BIG WILLIE WILL NOT BE INVOLVED IN THE REVIVED ‘MEN IN BLACK’ FRANCHISE

Just like the Bad Boys franchise, Men in Black films can’t be brought up without mentioning Will Smith. In case you didn’t know a fourth sequel is being added to the franchise, but unfortunately Smith will not be involved.

Filmaker couple Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald, who both produced Men In Black, sat down with The Hollywood Reporter and revealed that they will be revamping MIB without its star.

“Most likely no,” Parkes said when asked if Smith would be involved in the new film. “It will be reinvented as a trilogy,” MacDonald added.

Even though he won’t be apart of Men In Black, the Philly native has other projects he is working on. Besides focusing on building a sitcom similar to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air with his company Overbrook Entertainment, the Hancock actor will be teaming up with Jay Z to produce a HBO miniseries about the late Emmett Till.
