X, who hosts MTV’s top rated show “Pimp My Ride,” will host the ceremonies in front of a massive audience of over 1 billion people. Past hosts include Christina Aguilera, Robbie Williams and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs. The Beastie Boys, Nelly, Eminem and others will perform, while The Black Eyed Peas, Naomi Campbell, Eamon and others will hand out awards. The awards will be broadcast live on MTV’s European channels on Thursday, November 18th. “Pimp my Ride” has garnered widespread acclaim. The show is being considered for a People’s Choice Award, for Favorite Reality Show. He will go head-to-head with another Hip-Hop artist, as "The Surreal Life" featuring Flava Flav is also nominated in the same category. Keeping a busy schedule, Xzibit fans can catch him showcasing his acting abilities on UPN’s show “All of Us” in an episode scheduled to air November 9th. On the recording side, Xzibit’s anticipated album Weapons Of Mass Destruction has been shuffled from November 9th to December 14th.
