(AllHipHop Rumors) It looks like new music from the trio is certainly on the way.
The NBA All-Star weekend was certainly action-packed as it took place down in New Orleans this year.
Since it took place in the NO, it was only right to have the Hot Boys/ Cash Money involved in the festivities.
Both Mannie Fresh and Birdman chatted with Billboard, revealing their plans for the rest of the year.
Their plans include their Apple Music documentary, ‘Before Anything’ that will chronicle Cash Money’s journey, life, and semi-success before their label deal.
“I thought it made more sense to put it out this year on our 20th anniversary. Anybody that been in this business and this industry for 20 years with the same company, it just don’t happen. We was honored, blessed and fortunate enough to be able to do it and I thought this would be the perfect time to do it. I remember the fame that come with the glory, all the numbers and the sales but the struggle, the obstacles, the situations, the sh-t that we been through — that would make a man,” said Birdman.
Birdman also gave some promising details and updates on forthcoming music from Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Drake.
He claims they are, “coming with their projects”. He also says he’s coming with first solo project in seven years, ‘Ms. Gladys’.
Birdman still claims that he is going to make it right with Wayne, and Weezy’s much- anticipated ‘Tha Carter V’, project is actually coming out this year too.
“You will get it this year. Me and Wayne will be aight. I’ma make that work. That’s my son and I love him, and we’ll make it happen,” said Birdman.
Would you like to see several collabs from Drake, Wayne, and Nicki in addition to their independent projects?
