Dame Dash Claims That Biggie Planned To Sign To Roc-A-Fella

WAS BIGGIE HEADING TO THE ROC?

(AllHipHop Rumors) For as long as he lives, I believe Dame Dash will be great entertainment.

It’s always story time when Dame opens his mouth, so check out the anecdote he’s sharing now about Biggie!

In a recent interview with Hip Hop Motivation, Dame Dash revealed a pretty big shocking Hip Hop fun fact when he revealed that the late, great rap legend Notorious B.I.G. had planned on eventually joining him and Jay Z on their Roc-A-Fella record label. Say what?!?

“Biggie’s plan was to give Puff and them like three more albums because that’s what his deal is, then come sign with us, and we was gon’ do The Commission. We were looking for like a Charlie Baltimore, it ended up being her, that wasn’t our choice that was his. But, you know, that was what was gonna happen, or at least that’s what was talked about very seriously. I think that’s why he did a double album. Then he was gonna do a triple album, and he was gonna be out his contract, and then he was gonna come f-ck with us. I tried to sign The Firm but then Steve Stoute snaked us for that,” said Dame.

Biggie and Jay were longtime pals, but does this still seem like a stretch to you? Why is Dame just now revealing this? How do you think being on the Roc would’ve affected Biggie’s career? What are your thoughts?
