(AllHipHop Rumors) Daz Dillinger is an OG of the rap game and the gang game.
The Producer/rapper is known for producing some of Death Row Records’ biggest hits. Daz is also a member of the group Tha Dogg Pound.
Tha Dogg Pound was signed to Death Row Records and featured Daz alongside fellow rapper Kurupt. Daz has remained a constant fixture in the music industry.
He also has constantly been making headlines over the years for various reasons. Now we see Daz Dillinger making waves and ruffling feathers again. This time it’s his response to one of Rap’s newest star’s Cardi B.
Cardi B recently brought some heat on herself by posting a photo of herself to Instagram wearing a blue fur coat. The coat is harmless, but it’s the inclusion of the word “flue” in her caption that brought the heat.
The term is taken as being disrespectful to the Crips and members have responded back to the star. Daz issued his own response in video fashion recently and the web has taken notice.
In the video, Daz says, “Yeah, this how it’s supposed to be Cardi B. Straight blue. Crip.”
Daz kept it cool while delivering his response while some others have responded in more serious fashion. People often condemn the hip-hop and rap community for their ties to streets organization, but never truly realize that the ties will be forever present. Hip-Hop/rap were both birthed in the neighborhoods and their functions will always reflect the community.
