But what is more shocking to me is the rumors surrounding her departure. Remember Angie was considered the “voice of New York” and she dominated the airwaves in the afternoon for a long time. Well, here are the rumors! The craziest part of the rumors is that Angie Martinez may be going to POWER 105! The word on the street is they offered her crazy money and she couldn’t refuse it! If Angie goes to Power, that would be a huge shift in landscape of radio. These guys have been at war for quite some time now. Anyway, it seems like the Hot 97 gang is taking it stride and congratulating Angie.
