Is There A Police Unit Just For Drill Rap?

There is a unit devoted to Drill Rap music in New York City, according to sources with Illseed.

This Drill rap situation has been out of control for quite some time. I probably should not say that for fear of sounded too much like a white dude. But, the streets have got to cool down or else it simply justifies what I am about to say next.

Sources have told me there is a DRILL UNIT in New York City. 😮 As you should know by now, NYPD established the first iteration of the Hip-Hop Police. They had (have) a whole book of rappers, their names, records and affiliations. This was just crazy, but it was something we should never forget. But, of course, we forgot.

Today, this new unit does more than read AllHipHop’s comment section and Ill Community. They investigate YouTube, social media, listen to lyrics and look for gang signs in music videos. 😮 Are you shocked? When I see gang signs, I don’t know what they are saying, but these cops do now.

With the recent RICO charges hitting people like Gunna, Young Thug and Casanova (and those are just the rappers), I hope folks move smarter. I mean, Hip-Hop was never for this, but the “new masters” have taken control of the culture and the music. That is why Thug is more famous than D-Smoke. That is not to separate them, but to say that this whole thing is created to be a diverse, loving, fun culture that also promotes wellness and empowerment.

Yall don’t hear me though.
