A man died after getting stuck inside a Salvation Army Clothing donation box in New Jersey, according to police. Authorities say they got a call about a man hanging from one of the collection boxes and were able to dismantle the door to free the man, who was identified as 50-year-old Joseph Hanshaw. However, emergency crews were unable to revive him.
Officials believe Hanshaw was either trying to find warm clothing or spend the night in the box and describe his death as an unfortunate, tragic accident.
No jokes here. This really is a sad way to go.
