Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Christina Milian Involved with Someone from Young Money?

R&B cutie and The Dream’s baby mama, Christina Milian, is the newest member of Young Money! Lil’ Wayne announced the new signee during the Young Money pre-Grammy party last night, and Christina also tweeted, “Life is great… YMCMB”, along with a photo of Drake performing. Ozone Magazine founder Julia Beverly revealed on Twitter that Christina is “involved with someone from the Young Money camp.”  Check out her tweets below: C milian was “involved” w somebody in YM camp so her signing is not surprising…not gonna put em on blast..but not wayne people think it’s random that she got signed. I’m just saying it’s not. You’d be surprised who knows who & who’s involved w who Julia did mention that it wasn’t Lil’ Wayne, so who do you think it could be?  My guess is Cortez Bryant, the super manager for Lil’ Wayne, Nicki and Drake. He has a lot of power and influence on the label, and in my opinion, would be the only one who could get her signed. I just can’t see Christina going back to dating an artist after her failed marriage to The Dream. Who from YMCMB do you think C. Milian is dating?

If you ask anyone who knows me, I’m pretty good at impressions.” What do I think? YES HE CAN!!! Source: NY Mag.com

Drake Performs for Sundance Film Festival Attendees

(AllHipHop News) Drake performed for Sundance Film Festival patrons last night, despite being nearly three hours tardy to the show due to blizzard-like conditions in Park City, Utah. Drake finally appeared and started the night off with “Up All Night” and segued to his first verse on “Forever,” at which point he introduced Toronto-based DJ Future the Prince. An apologetic Drake told the crowd he was late due to a six-hour plane delay. Drake performed medley of hits for the crowd, including “Show Me a Good Time,” “Make Me Proud,” “I’m On One,” “She Will,” “Marvin’s Room” and others. The rapper also poured drinks for fans in between songs to make up for his lateness. Drake closed out his set rapping songs from the RIAA Certified Platinum Take Care.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Drake Spending 45K a Month in Rent??!!

Life must be really good for Drake!! He has several 5 l-star chicks (insert name here — Serena, Nebby, Dollicia, etc.), he’s been consistently at the top of the charts, and now he has an amazing mega mansion match. The YMCMB rappa/singa is reportedly renting out a mega mansion in Los Angeles for a staggering $45,000 a month!!! Check out some photos of the crib below: Drizzy’s new $9 million house is located in the swanky Hidden Hills area of Los Angeles and is enormous at 7500 square feet. The crib is fit for a king and has several tennis courts for those days when Serena wants to come over, a movie theater, massage room, several outside cabanas, an indoor swimming pool, and it even has its own waterfall and grotto! I wonder how many “playboy mansion” style parties Drake will be indulging in at his new home. But I have to wonder, is all that worth $45,000 a month in rent??!!!

Hip Hop Rumors: Is Little Jaden Smith Joining Young Money??!!!

Jaden Smith is reportedly in talks with Lil’ Wayne to join his YMCMB record label. Sources say Jaden is a huge fan of Drake and Tyga and wants to join the roster so that he can work with them on a consistent basis. I wonder why he isn’t considering joining Roc Nation along with his lil’ sis, Willow? I know one thing, if Will and Jada let Jaden join YMCMB, they are truly out of their scientology minds!!!

Mike Posner Releases Acoustic Cover Of Rick Ross’ “Stay Schemin”

R&B singer Mike Posner, whose soulful sound is a bi-product of his love for Hip-Hop, released a video featuring an acoustic cover of the new single from Rick Ross’ mixtape, Rich Forever. The track, “Stay Schemin,” originally features rappers French Montana and Drake and has made a big splash on both the Internet and radio since its release. However, French and Drake do not appear on this version of the song as you will see below, but Posner friend and guitar player, Blackbear, does. Regarding how the “Stay Schemin” interpretation came to fruition, Posner exclusively told AllHipHop.com: “I was in Miami the last two weeks working with Pharrell, and after I would finish recording, I would kick it with Rozay at his crib. Rick [Ross], French [Montana], and I went to the club one night in Miami, and I saw the reaction people had to “Stay Schemin”, even though it had only been out for a day. That made me fall in love with the song, and I knew Blackbear and I could put a fresh spin on it.” “Shout outs to Pharrell for letting me borrow his keyboard in the making of,” he continued, while laughing. Check out the video of Mike Posner and Blackbear’s acoustic cover of “Stay Schemin” below and download a free version of the song here.
