Amalgam Digital CEO turned filmmaker Anyextee’s newest documentary Harvest Season is set to change that and delve into the medicinal, horticultural, political and recreational culture of marijuana. The film, which includes commentary from Hip Hop marijuana enthusiast Curren$y, takes the viewer into some of the grow fields in Northern California, Jamaica, and Mexico. The film debuts on 4/20 at 4:20pm live from the High Times US Cannabis Cup in Denver, Colorado. Smoke DZA Tapped To Judge High Times' Cannabis Cup In San Francisco

Harlem, New York rapper Smoke DZA has been tapped to to serve as a judge during High Times’ Cannabis Cup in San Francisco. Smoke DZA will be joined by collaborator Harry Fraud during the 2012 High Times Medical Cannabis Cup, which will take place on June 23. Other ask slated to hit the stage at the ex pavilion, include XY and Z. In addition to acting as judges, the pair will perform selections from their new album Rugby Thompson. The new album Rugby Thompson features guest appearances from a number of popular emcees, including Action Bronson, Curren$y, Sean Price, Domo Genesis, Schoolboy Q and A$AP Twelvyy. The album, which is available now, was released through High Times Records and Cinematic Music.

The Harlem MC has enlisted Curren$y, Sean Price, Action Bronson, Domo Genesis, Schoolboy Q, and more for his 12-track album that follows April’s Cuz I Felt Like It EP. DZA spoke on his Harry Fraud produced album with AllHipHop.com: “It’s always a pleasure to work with somebody as talented as Harry, you know, I’m blessed to be able to work with him and put out a whole project with him.
