Hip-Hop Rumors: WTF Is Up With Gossip Game?

So, I was the one that broke this story about The Gossip Game, back when it was called “Hip-Hop Gossip Girls.” Now, I am hearing some stuff. Right? I’m hearing some stuff and I want to put it out there to you, the people. But, then I hear that this damn show presents a clear and present conflict of interest to AllHipHop? Why? Because somebody of note is on the show. I’m like, “Got damn.” A Mole. There’s somebody on the staff that is going to appear on the show and I 1) don’t know about it and I 2) cannot tell you all the other stuff I heard because it will mess up things for the person. Apparently, we or he could get sued for a ga-zillion dollars. With that said, that is all I can say, but if you listen to producer Mona Scott…you will learn more. She’s a-talkin’ to people. Here is the super trailer on the show. Get More: The Gossip Game RELATED: Rumors EXCLUSIVE: REAL VH1 Gossip Girls Cast Revealed! Former Editor of The Source, Kim Osorio, Named Content VP at Northstar Group

(AllHipHop News) Earlier today (January 10), L. Londell McMillan, owner of both The Source Magazine and Jones Magazine, held a press conference at the Muse Hotel in New York City to name Kim Osorio as the new Vice President of Content and Editorial for the Northstar Group, Inc. When asked about this milestone in her career, Osorio told AllHipHop.com: “This is like coming full circle. This is where you start to understand what your purpose is and you’ve kind of been out there in different roles and seen what it is but you realize where your heart is. That’s what this is.” Osorio went on to discuss the new direction she plans to take The Source in over the course of the next five to 10 years: “For The Source and Jones, I feel like in five to 10 years, we’re going to be continuing to grow the brand outside of the traditional print media outlets with magazines, or even the online world.” “I want to see The Source Awards back on television. I want to see The Source music compilation albums.” She continued, “the brand is such a part of the culture and it was always really got there because there were all of these other moving pieces and right now you can’t just be a magazine.” Osorio is no stranger to The Source, as she was the first female Editor-In-Chief of the magazine for several years ago. She left in 2005 to pursue other ventures following legal troubles with the magazine, and in 2008, she released Straight From The Source: An Expose from the Former Editor In Chief of the Hip-Hop Bible, which detailed her time under the brand.
