Jadakiss and McDonald's Give Back to Jersey Children's Hospital for Holidays

Last Saturday Yonkers bred rapper and member of the LOX, Jadakiss teamed up with McDonald’s for a toy drive event to give back to The Specialized Children’s Hospital in the spirit of the holiday season. The toy drive was at a McDonald’s restaurant in Jersey City, NJ as hundreds of children waited in line outside for their special gift and celebrity meet & greet. Each child received a warm smile and hug from Jadakiss & VH1’s Love & Hip Hop reality star Kimbella. The children enjoyed additional festivities, such as face painting, photos with Santa, a gift receipt for a McDonald’s Happy meal, chocolate chip cookies, games, and music provided by Power 105.1 Breakfast Club personality DJ Envy.

DJ Clue Arrested on Drug Charges; Caught Driving with Suspended License

(AllHipHop News) This morning (April 3) Desert Storm CEO and Power 105.1 DJ, DJ Clue, was arrested on charges of possession of controlled substance and for being an aggravated unlicensed operator. DJ Clue, born Ernesto Shaw, was reportedly driving his black Range Rover with New Jersey plates when he was stopped at a checkpoint on Varick Street at about 2 a.m. Police then checked his driving record and determined that DJ Clue was driving with a license that had been suspended eight times. When authorities arrested him they searched him and found three pills wrapped in foil, and he was immediately booked. Clue is expected to be arraigned in Manhattan court later today and has yet to release a statement to the public. Last year DJ Clue made headlines for his beef with Funk Master Flex as the two were involved in an ongoing public battle between Power 105.1 and Hot 97. More news as details emerge.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Charlamagne Tha God Almost Jumped By 5 Men!

Power 105.1 radio personality Charlamagne Tha God has been on the wrong side of right these last few weeks. First he was going back and forth with HOT 97’s FunkMaster Flex, then he almost got into a physical altercation with rapper Busta Rhymes, and now a video has surfaced of him getting hit in the head and then almost jumped by five men! Check out his tweets about the altercation below: Video of the altercation was posted on WorldStarHipHop, and it shows Charlamagne getting hit in the head after refusing to give the guy a “drop” for their DVD. Charlamagne was caught on camera running away from the unknown assailants after he saw that he was outnumbered. You can catch the video here. Hip-Hop Rumors: Busta Rhymes Almost Got Into A Fight With Which Radio Personality?

The first fight of the BET Awards almost took place last night when Busta Rhymes got into the face of a popular radio personality, and had to be held back from putting hands on him.  According to several sources, Busta approached Power 105.1 Breakfast Club host, Charlamagne, at NOBU in Los Angeles over some mess that happened 8 years ago. Huh? According to our source, Busta was upset over an interview with his baby mama and his son that took place on the Wendy Williams radio show in 2004. For those that don’t know, Charlamagne used to work for Wendy Williams a few years back, but according to him, he was not working with Wendy in 2004 when the interviews happened. Artist manager James Cruz had to hold Busta Rhymes back from body slamming Charlamagne, while music executive Bu Thaim had to hold Charlamagne back. Crazy! But why wait 8 years to approach Charlamagne, and why not just confront Wendy Williams about it? SO weird. When asked about the almost fight, Charlamagne told Vlad TV, “Arguing. Acting like we wanted to do something to each other but neither of us made a move. That’s why I don’t talk to n##### after 5PM.” There must be more to this story. I’ll keep my ears open and update you if I hear anything else.
