Birdman Says Lil Wayne and Trick Daddy Beef Is Resolved
(AllHipHop News) The much talked about feud between Lil Wayne and Trick Daddy is over according to Birdman. The Cash Money boss appeared on MTV’s RapFix Live this week and said that he spoke with Trick recently and settled the problems between the two rappers. “I saw Trick Monday in [King of Diamonds] and we had a talk and it was all love,” said Birdman. “That’s dead meat.” Reports of a brewing beef between Wayne and Trick began circulating in February after Wayne went on a rant dissing Miami Heat players at a show during NBA All-Star weekend. Trick Daddy, a Miami native, addressed Wayne’s comments in an interview saying, “I don’t care who be offended by what I say. I rep my city and want nobody disrespecting… When they lease is up they can leave.” Then last month a reported altercation involving some of Trick’s associates and Wayne took place at King of Diamonds. The incident allegedly led to Wayne leaving the strip club early. [ALSO READ: More Details Emerge of Lil Wayne/Trick Daddy Incident At KODs] Just this week Trick spoke with TMZ and told the website he was open to speaking with Wayne, but he did throw in a last warning shot directed at the Young Money leader. “If I [wanted to start sh*t with Lil Wayne] he would have been in the hospital for a different reason than a seizure,” Trick is quoted as saying. Apparently, the sit-down did take place with Birdman and now everything is resolved. In the interview, Baby also went on to talk about the recent controversy over Rick Ross’ lyrics in Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” that led to the Miami rapper losing his deal with Reebok. More Details Emerge of Lil Wayne/Trick Daddy Incident At KODs
(AllHipHop News) Rumors have been flying the last few days of an alleged fight that took place between Lil Wayne and Trick Daddy at the King of Diamonds strip club in Miami. [ALSO READ: Hip-Hop Rumors: Did Trick Daddy G-Up On Lil Wayne In Miami?] TMZ is now reporting that Wayne and Trick never actually confronted each other face-to-face, but apparently someone from TD’s crew did throw a lit cigarette at the YMCMB rapper. Wayne was at the night spot with his friend Young Money President Mack Maine. At some point in the night Wayne and Mack decided to leave the club, and as the two were exiting they were confronted by members of Trick’s entourage. After Wayne was hit with the cigarette, King of Diamonds security stepped in before the situation could escalate. It appears that Trick Daddy was not present in the area where the scuffle was happening. “It’s sad they had to revisit a situation that was Internet beef … while surrounded by naked girls,” a representative from King of Diamonds told TMZ. [ALSO READ: Lil Wayne Goes On Anti-Miami Heat Rant: “I F*cked Chris Bosh Wife”, “I’m the new Pac”] “If anybody don’t like it they can die tonight,” stated Tricky Daddy after Wayne’s Heat comments surfaced. “I don’t care who be offended by what I say. I rep my city and want nobody disrespecting. Miami performers Uncle Luke and Pitbull also addressed what they felt was Wayne’s disrespect toward their hometown. Up-and-coming local rapper LMS even released a Lil Wayne diss track entitled “No Jeggings.” Lil Wayne did apologize to the city of Miami and LeBron James though he refused to offer any remorse for his public announcement that he slept with Chris Bosh’s wife. As of yet, Wayne has not made a statement about the King of Diamonds incident. Check out photos of Wayne at King of Diamonds the night of the altercation courtesy of TMZ.

Iceberg Discusses Leaving Trick Daddy’s Label; New Mixtape “Rise to Power”
(AllHipHop News) Since his departure from Trick Daddy’s label, rising rapper Iceberg is not resting on his laurels. The budding rapper is expanding his own label, Live House in addition to working on a new mixtape titled “Rise to Power.” “I just been grinding, I just put out like four videos in four weeks, literally every monday for the last four weeks I been dropping a video,” Iceberg told AllHipHop.com. “I’m pushing my website BillionBerg.com and pushing the new company Live House. Getting ready for the first quarter of 2013.” According to Berg, the Live House movement is more than just a record label, consisting of a management company, as well as a merchandising business. “It’s everything, it’s the click. I’m going to join another entity but I just got out of my last situation and I just got free. After I got out of my situation [deal with Trick Daddy] it was hindering me from joining a new situation. I started my own situation.” This year, the rapper landed features with artists like Trina, Ace Hood, DJ Khaled, Gunplay and other Miami acts and he will continue his momentum going into the new year. In 2013, Iceberg will take full advantage of his newfound freedom, by exploring his creativity with a new mixtape titled “Rise to Power.” “It feels damn good. It feels like I’m working toward something as far as a free agent,” Iceberg stated. “A lot of the songs I dropped, I was dropping to try and get shows and get hot in venues to make that show money, because that’s the only means of income I could of had as far as rap music. Now it’s all about ‘Rise to Power.’” Look out for ‘Rise to Power’ in early 2013. Hip-Hop Rumors: Trick Daddy Calls Plies a “B*tch,” Doesn’t Like Kobe Bryant!
Oh man, Trick Daddy is going in on everybody in the new issue of Ozone Magazine. Check out a few excerpts from the magazine below, with Trick Rick Ross calling Plies “a b####.” hating on Kobe Bryant, and speaking on his issues with Rick Ross. On Rick Ross: “Everybody’s doing music. They read my interview in OZONE or hear my interview on the radio and then they go from being a Trick Daddy fan to thinking they can be better than Trick. Think about someone who has a clean [criminal] record who graduated at the top of their class. They have a clean driving record and always say “yes ma’am” and “yes sir.” If he gets on a record and tells all these lies about robbing and killing and dope dealing and you fall for it, and later you find out [it was a lie], he should be punished for that. I never did music like that; that’s why my music is timeless. People don’t do that anymore in rap music, it’s all LaLaLand, so when the rainbow washes away it ain’t nothing but a sad story. Everybody’s looking crazy and dumb and all the fourteen, fifteen, sixteen year old killers are on First 48. I refuse to be the victim. I refuse to be the one on the other end of the stick and they’re saying, “Yeah, he’s locked up for killing Trick.” Are you referring to a fellow Miami rapper whose occupational background may or may not affect the credibility of his music? I said it before and I’ll say it again. I’ve always been a fan of the man’s talents. I never really had a problem with it. I think what blew [the whole situation] out of proportion was that he had a problem admitting it. I don’t have a problem with him. We never had no beef or nothing like that. I just felt like the people who were around him at that time when [that news] came out could’ve avoided all that. You can’t have too many yes-men and mini-me’s and me-too’s around you. I think if the right people had been around him, [that situation] wouldn’t have went that far. I know you and Plies had issues at one point. Was that ever squashed? Plies is a b*tch. Me and Plies’ problem started because I walked up on Plies [in Orlando at the Roxy] talking about he didn’t want me at his show, and I was only coming to support. Ever since then he has refused to even get on the phone like a man and talk to me about it. Anytime I walk by accidentally they start running. When I shot the [DJ Khaled] “Out Here Grindin’” video shoot in New York, Plies wouldn’t come because he didn’t know I was on the record. What would you want to tell Plies? I just hope he understands he’s still a Trick Daddy fan. That “bruh bruh” sh*t, that’s some Miami sh*t. He just took it and ran with it. I know he’s still a Trick Daddy fan. Don’t let the animosity and envy that you have for the man interfere with the legacy. But why would Plies would have animosity towards you in the first place? Some n*ggas just ain’t built for this. I don’t like Kobe Bryant. I love his basketball game, but I don’t like him as a man. I don’t like the sh*t that happened with him and Shaq and what happened between him and Pau Gasol. I didn’t like [the alleged rape] situation. He went straight from high school to the league with a hundred something million dollar contract. You never see him at parties. You never see Kobe on TMZ. He doesn’t have any friends. He’s not sociable. He’s very arrogant. He thinks he’s better than a b*tch. You could be the greatest player in the world but [that attitude] takes a lot away from you. But I saw him say something last week that made me understand him. They asked [Kobe] on [TV], “How do you compare yourself to Robert Parrish and Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and all the big-name basketball players?” Kobe said, “I would never put myself above them because I got everything I learned from them.” If Plies would realize that I’m the ni*ga who made him wanna get in his ugly ass ‘vert and ride to Slip N Slide Records and sign [a record deal], he shouldn’t have no hatred in his heart about me. I just think Plies should just realize that it’s easier to be amongst us than on top of us. When I listen to [Plies’] music, he tries to be so ghetto and hard. Then I research and find out the n*gga graduated at the top of his class. The n*gga went to college. I would trade for that. You could be Trick Daddy, sh*t. If I could go to college and have a clean record and graduate as valedictorian, I’d trade Trick Daddy for that.” Wow, hate much??? Source: Ozone Magazine
