ILoveMakonnen was been a huge break out artist in 2014 thanks to a collab with the 6ix God himself Drake on their infectious joint, “Tuesday.” With the recent release of his EP ILOVEMAKONNEN 2 and the impending drop of his upcoming studio album, the Atlanta artist is preparing for a whole new world of success.
In a recent interview with Papermag, Makonnen opened up about how he feels about the state of the music industry, the mentality of other artists and this generation along with where exactly he gets his inspiration from. Most importantly, he also let out a little gem that he has recently wrapped up in the studio with Kanye West, David Guetta and the legendary Rick Rubin.
