There has been several artists that have had incredible performances on Saturday Night Live, but very few could match up to Prince’s level. Instead of booking an artist to perform through comedy skits this weekend, SNL dedicated last night’s episode to the singer. Jimmy Fallon started the show off with an emotional speech about Prince’s impact on music and SNL. It also featured past performances from his early years to the show’s 40th anniversary after party, as well as clips of comedian Fred Amison playing as Prince in the comedy sketch “The Prince Show.” Check out the memorable episode here.
