Kanye wanted to see the look on his best friend’s face when he opened the gift, so he allegedly charted a private jet to hand deliver the gift. Beyonce’s younger sister Solange turned 26 over the weekend, and her brother-in-law Jay Z and big sis were on hand to make sure Solo had a birthday to remember. First, Beyonce surprised Solange with a helicopter ride over London, that compelled Solange to share a photo of the adventure with her Instagram followers along with the message, “We are family.” Then, according to the Daily Mirror, at the stroke of midnight, Jay-Z gathered Beyonce, Kanye West, and Rihanna backstage at his BBC Radio 1 Hackney show and led a chorus of ‘Happy Birthday.’ Jigga presented Solange with a cake and champagne and the singer was reportedly really moved by the gesture. ”It was really sweet. Solange hadn’t even noticed that it had turned 12am when Jay got everybody singing together. She was really touched.” The birthday celebration was a nice way to end a rumored dramatic day for Jay and Bey. According to reports, Beyonce was upset by a ‘fan’ during Jay-Z and Kanye’s performance when the ‘fan’ allegedly began harrasing her and talking badly about her baby girl, Blue Ivy. A source said, “Whatever was said, it really upset Beyoncé. Jay-Z’s bodyguards weren’t going to have any of it. They waded in and there was a massive ruckus. Beyonce was spotted enjoying the final show for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Watch The Throne” tour in the LG Arena in Birmingham UK with none other than Kim Kardashian! Rumors have been swirling for months that Beyonce did not want anything to do with Kim K. because she felt like Kim didn’t deserve her success – after all she really doesn’t have any talent besides…well, never mind. A source told the NY Daily News that, “Beyoncé is careful with who she surrounds herself with, but she never hated Kim.” Kanye was desperate to get Beyonce to accept Kim K., and according to The Sun, he finally convinced Bey to sit down with Kim K. and air her grievances, in hopes of the two becoming friends. Kanye allegedly set up a private dinner for the two in his hotel suite last week, and the two got along so well that Bey decided to let Kim K. sit with her at the concert. Tickets For Kanye West's Two-Night Stint In Atlantic City Sell Out In Minutes
(AllHipHop News) Tickets for both of Kanye West’s first North American solo shows in over a year have sold out in minutes. The tickets, which went on sale to the general public today (June 22) at 10 a.m. were unavailable almost instantly, with pre-sales from American Express and other companies devouring most of the seats before they were even made available this morning. West is set to play Atlantic City’s new resort and casino, Revel, on Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7. The dates are his first solo shows since his 2011 Coachella performance. Tickets for the Revel shows were priced between $99.00 and $500.00. Now, they are already ebbing sold for upwards of $3,000 on third party sites like StubHub. For years, the issues with ticket sales and reselling have been serious, and the Kanye West instant ticket sell out is an example that the days of obtaining tickets for highly-anticipated and publicized shows when they go on sale may nearly be over, no matter the venue size. For the past several months, West has been touring overseas with Throne-mate Jay-Z on the duo’s highly successful and revenue generating “Watch the Throne” tour. In other G.O.O.D Music news, Pusha T revealed yesterday that the label’s first compilation, Cruel Summer, will be released on August 7.

The NY Daily News is reporting that according to a source inside the Kardashian camp, one of the main reasons Kim Kardashian is dating Kanye West is to get close to his A-list friends, in particular, Beyonce. The reality star may get her chance this week. Kim K. is currently in London accompanying Yeezy, where he will be performing alongside Jay-Z for their “Watch The Throne” concerts at London’s O2 Arena beginning on Friday. “Kim wants to travel everywhere with Kanye, but she’s also trying to do whatever she can to get close to Beyoncé,” says the source. “So, if Bey and Jay are going, she’s going,” the insider adds. The insider also admits that Kim is “very into Kanye,” and that Kanye “absolutely adores her.” Kardashian’s spokeswoman has said that Kim has had the London trip “on her calendar since last year” to promote her perfume and do press. “It’s a coincidence that the concerts are at the same time,” she says. Kanye West and Jay-Z Auctioning Off Maybach From “Otis” Video For Charity
(AllHipHop News) As of this past weekend, fans, passer-bys, and anyone interested in purchasing a piece of Hip-Hop history can view the infamous Maybach used in Jay-Z and Kanye West’s music video for “Otis” off of their Platinum-certified album Watch the Throne. The “customized” 2004 Maybach 57, which is currently up for auction and estimated at a value between $100,000 and $150,000, is residing at 450 Park Avenue in New York City until Wednesday, March 7. The auction will take place on the following evening of March 8. Auction host and chairman of Phillips de Pury & Company, Simon de Pury said, “Jay-Z and Kanye West are towering figures in contemporary culture. They have greatly contributed to the artificial barriers between art, music, fashion and cinema to come down. Their video for ‘Otis’ became an instant classic. The Maybach they have transformed for it has the starring role.” A good portion of proceeds from the auction will go to Save the Children which is “the leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need around the world.Save the Children has helped 2.5 million children and families in the Horn of Africa through feeding, water trucking, healthcare and education.” Those interested in seeing the car can stop by the Maybach’s current residence from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday thru Saturday and from noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
